Supernova Cute Responsive Website
This project was worked for the duration of August 2023 as part of my UX Design certification course.
Links:
Role: UX Researcher and Designer
Goal: Create a responsive shopping website that is easy to use.
Target Audience: Those who are fans of Asian pop culture and those who are too busy to shop in person.
Key Challenges/Constraints:
-
First time usingAdobe XD for wireframing and prototyping.
-
Conducted every step in process without a team
Research Conducted:
Viewed websites that were comparable to the services that I would be offering. Took notes on what features were beneficial to users and asked those around me what they look for regarding website interface that they would like to see.

Initial Concepts/Design Strategy:
A sitemap was created to layout out what I wanted to feature on my website. Then paper and digital wireframes were created. The first set displays four wireframes for the website's homepage with the best features put into one homepage. The next set of wireframes were the different display sizes for varying devices.

Results of User Testing:
-
Users wanted an easier way to see items they had purchased
-
Users had a hard time adding items to wish-list because they were not clearly labeled
-
Users wanted to see an action happen when they clicked on "Add to Wish-list"
Final Polished Designs

Conclusion:
The next steps in this project is to do one final usability test to see if every problem has been resolved with users. This project taught me a lot about the full UX design and research process and will be a reference to me for future design work. I also learned how to really maneuver around Adobe XD which is a valuable skill to have in the field of UX/UI design.
