Caitlyn Gambol was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina and is now based in northern Virginia. She is a recent graduate from George Mason University and received her B.A. in Art and Visual Technology with a concentration in drawing and a minor in graphic design. Gambol has always been interested in creating art since she was a child and became serious about the field during her last two years of high school. She typically renders portraits and stills in colored pencils while incorporating some stand out materials every now and then to add something special. She has recently dabbled in digital illustration where she makes simple and calming works. Her themes are often lighthearted and fun in nature, but she usually revisits the themes of stress and pressure that many young adults face during that stage of life.
